Credit Clerk - Temporaire

Job Summary

The credit clerk will be responsible for deductions from customers along with other related credit and collection functions in the credit department.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist the Credit Manager with customer accounts reconciliations;
  • Manage and be responsible for deductions; obtain and forward the documentation, carry out internal follow-ups of the company or correspond to obtain reimbursement of unjustified deductions;
  • Ensure the control of the deduction log: keeping the Credit Manager informed of the status of the deductions of accounts attributed via weekly meetings (knowledge and understanding of the issues);

Qualifications and Experiences Required

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting (preferably);
  • 2-5 years of experience in a role related to credit and collections;
  • Experience in the food industry and / or ability to work in a high deduction management environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel;
  • Ability to multitask while remaining organized and prioritizing;
  • Proficiency in English and French, both oral and written;
  • Motivated, invested and responsible;
  • Analytical spirit, proactive learning, attention to detail and precision;
  • Ability of working both independently and as a team;
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule;
